Summary
In conclusion out of the 50% males and 50% females, ranging from ages 16-30+, in which we surveyed most of our results gave us our ideas for our film trailer. For example:
- Children were found to be the scariest
- Trailers and billboards were the advertising that most influenced people
- Most people expect a cliffhanger and the 'best bits' from a horror film
- Horror was the favourite genre from the selected participants
- Saw and Paranormal Activity were the favourite horror films chosen
- Once a month was the most popular time period in which people watch horror films
- An abandoned house was said to be the most scariest setting
- Paranormal was what was expected of a horror
This was able to help us when planning for our film trailer ideas.
